Weather
conditions |
|
| |

The weather conditions of the North do not permit us to respect
schedules all the time. It is therefore possible that delays occur
during your trip. Great North Adventures Inc. cannot be held responsible
in this matter.
|
|
| |
Caribou
migration |
|
| |
Caribou gather in large herds several times during the year. The
calving period (spring) and rutting
period (fall) are among the most important reasons for those large
gatherings. Throughout the rest
of the year, caribou can be encountered in groups of some dozens
up to several thousand animals.
Great North
Adventures' experienced pilots choose the best available territories
to watch the Lord
of the Tundra in its natural surroundings. However, the total
number of spotted caribou is subject
to natural changes which are beyond our control, such as climate
and migration path.
All our pilots are professionals with a vast experience in flying
under the special conditions of
Canada's Great North.
